Web Designer (Figma Experience Required)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Web Designer with strong experience in Figma to create mobile-first, engaging, user-friendly websites that align with our brand and business goals. The ideal candidate excels at translating concepts into pixel-perfect, responsive web designs and collaborates seamlessly with developers, marketers, and content teams. You will play a key role in designing websites that deliver exceptional user experiences, convert visitors, and reflect advancing design trends.

• Location: Remote (U.S. Based)
• Reports To: Creative Director / Art Director
• Travel: Occasional travel for client meetings, industry events or team retreats

You are a passionate web designer who combines creativity with technical understanding. Skilled in Figma, mobile design and web design principles, you understand the importance of user experience (UX), accessibility, and responsive design. You thrive working within a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering high-quality digital experiences that impress users and meet business objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design responsive and visually compelling website layouts, wireframes, prototypes, and UI components using Figma.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including marketers, content strategists, developers, and product managers to ensure designs align with brand and business goals.
• Create interactive prototypes and design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across all web projects.
• Translate marketing and product requirements into intuitive, accessible user flows and interface designs.
• Maintain and update existing website designs, ensuring ongoing improvements and modern enhancements.
• Work closely with WordPress developers to support smooth handoff and implementation of design specifications.
• Keep up with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously raise the quality of your work.
• Conduct user testing feedback integration and design iterations to optimize the user experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Technical Skills:

• Proficient with Figma: wireframing, prototyping, component libraries, and collaboration features.
• Strong visual design skills with a portfolio showcasing website and UI design work.
• Understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and SEO-friendly design.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts for effective developer collaboration.
• Experience with design systems and style guides.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working cross-functionally.
• Detail-oriented with high standards for design quality and consistency.
• Strong problem solving and creativity in translating business needs into design solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new design tools and methods.

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Experience with other design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Illustrator.
• Background in branding or marketing design to align visuals with strategic goals.
