$124,000 - $150,000
per year based upon a
San Francisco
location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Total Rewards offerings also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental and vision insurance, flex paid time off program, parental leave, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contributions, Summer Fridays, opportunity to work from anywhere for two weeks during the calendar year and December wellness/shutdown week for applicable positions.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Senior Social Marketing Manager
to lead the development and execution of Fenty Beauty's social media strategy across YouTube, Pinterest, and community across all platforms. You will be responsible for creating a social playbook for our branded social channels (specifically YouTube and Pinterest), driving brand awareness, building customer engagement and loyalty, and supporting business goals. You will stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of social media.
This role will be dedicated to cross-brand channels including Pinterest, YouTube, and Instagram Broadcast. Additionally, you will lead our community management strategy across all platforms.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of Fenty Beauty's social media strategy and create a blueprint for how Fenty Beauty's branded social channels express the brand and support business goals. Write the playbook for YouTube and Pinterest. Own and implement our community management strategy: Drive brand awareness and introduce Fenty Beauty to new audiences while building engagement and loyalty to our overall customer base via reactive and proactive community engagement. Define the role of Pinterest and YouTube Lead social strategy for key marketing campaigns: Lead the development and execution of best-in-class organic social strategy across all platforms, including platform strategy, content strategy, community management, campaign planning, and social calendars. Work closely with global partners to make Fenty Beauty a global brand on owned and retailer social channels. Create, deliver, and continuously evolve the 'global brand social playbook.' Employ a test, learn, scale strategic mindset to optimize owned social. Identify and proactively pursue social innovation across reporting, content, and strategy. Partner with e-commerce and retail marketing teams to support direct sales-driving initiatives. Manage the annual organic social budget, forecasting, planning, and tracking. Be a strategic thought partner cross-functionally with Creative, Brand Management, eComm, and international teams. Share best practices, general guidance, and the implications of platform updates with broader groups. Schedule, write copy, and community manage one social platform. Strategize social-driven ways to reach new audiences beyond our owned channels. Oversee and lead reporting - data tracking, insights, analytics platforms, and competitive landscapes. Coach, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team. Maintain a pulse on pop culture, digital/social/tech innovation, emerging influencers, and content creators. Requirements:
7+ years of experience in social media marketing, with increasing levels of responsibility. Proven experience leading and mentoring a team. Passion for the beauty industry and social media Proven track record/portfolio of ideating and delivering social campaigns that drive impactful results Ability to analyze data and deliver actionable insights Deep understanding of social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest...and what's next Passion for quickly sourcing and embracing the latest in digital and social technology Strong creative eye for disruptive content that translates to beauty Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills Flexible and positive attitude; able to work independently and within teams and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Curious mindset with a passion for continuously testing, learning, and pushing the boundaries Familiarity with social media management tools: analytics and scheduling platforms (e.g., Dash Hudson) Experience with community management and social engagement Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, brand tone, and voice No task too small attitude Ability to handle fast pace and multiple projects at once Exceptional organizational, leadership (both with and without direct authority), and time management skills
