Overview FINSYNC is actively seeking a Senior User UX UI Designer to contribute to our team. This role involves designing mobile and web products, assisting small businesses in managing payments, tracking cash flow, processing payroll, and optimizing their overall business operations. By closely collaborating with our Product and Development teams, you will be crucial in defining, designing, user-testing, and continually enhancing exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities Seek and recommend design solutions balancing user and business needs, simplifying the complex
Think through complex features and flows bringing simplified and effective solutions
Discover, define, and execute multiple features or a single epic
Follow an iterative design process to wireframe, prototype, and validate design ideas
Modernize and enhance advisor experiences, facilitating better client outcomes
Leverage qualitative and quantitative research insights to inform design decisions and how to design an MVP with a longer-term vision in mind
Utilize the FINSYNC design language and component library across the product suite and platforms ensuring all designs and implementations follow consistency
Effectively communicate ideas and designs to end-users and product team members
Develop and optimize partnerships with product, design, engineering, and interconnected teams
Work closely with fellow UI / UX Designers and the VP of Product
Qualifications 7+ years of proven experience in UI / UX design for both web and mobile applications
Extreme passion for understanding the user, and a strong communicator of the user's perspective throughout the design process
Proficiency in multiple UX disciplines: user research, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
Analytical Skills: Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, presenting findings, and making informed recommendations
Deliverables Proficiency: Competence in leveraging research and usability strategy deliverables, including discovery findings, mental models, personas, etc.
Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with rapid prototyping and visualization tools like Figma, Miro, or similar platforms
Experience using Jira and/or Confluence is strongly preferred
Design Fundamentals: Proficiency in using style guides, iconography, and typography
Collaborative Experience: Previous work in a collaborative, cross-functional modern software design and development environment; successful track record of remote work with distributed teams
