We currently have an entry level opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Graduate to work with our Information Communication Technology (ICT) Group. Job Responsibilities As an entry level engineer, you will support our engineering teams working towards designs that are inspiring, demanding and highly collaborative. You will learn from others, and they will expect to learn from you. You will share in the responsibility, rewards, and recognition of producing truly innovative solutions and complete client satisfaction. Some responsibilities include: Enroll in the firmwide EDT program. Attend continuing education seminars on technical or professional enhancing topics. Conduct field inspections to determine existing conditions and coordinate new work, assisting Senior team members in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis and other technical reports and drawings. Coordinate with other disciplines and work in close contact with the entire design team. Create basic designs under the direction of senior team members, performing CAD/BIM drafting, equipment selections, systems calculations for a variety of projects and project sizes to begin to understand architectural engineering design and documentation. Begin to be cross trained in multidisciplinary designs and supporting design production of drawings, calculations, research, reports, analyses, and specifications. Have a basic understanding of network connectivity, LAN, WAN fundamentals and other ICT trades fundamentals. Have a basic understanding of Wi-Fi infrastructure, WAPs, controllers. Learn and master drawing organization and company standards. Support the design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, system retrofits, system replacement and system upgrades for a wide variety of projects and project types. Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the work assignments. Job Requirements The ideal candidate will enjoy a team environment and be flexible enough to work independently where needed. Candidates for this role will be eager to learn and will expand their knowledge and hands-on experience by challenging themselves and using the highly technical resources around them. Additional job requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a graduation date of Winter 2025, Spring or Summer of 2026 Knowledge in the latest version of MEP Auto CAD; REVIT experience is a plus Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite Previous engineering internship, a plus Benefits As an employee of Syska Hennessy, you will be part of a global firm with an amazing history! Actual pay range for candidates will be commensurate with candidate's experience, skillsets and competencies and may differ based on the cost of labor in their particular location.
