Overview Marketing Specialist at Jostens. Hybrid position with onsite presence three days a week at Jostens’ corporate office in Minneapolis, MN. About You This role supports the marketing team, completes assigned initiatives, defines marketing strategies and tactical plans, and executes go-to-market activities that support organizational goals such as driving buy rate and growth. Responsibilities Market Research: Research sports championship data and report on sports activity weekly (wins/losses). Marketing Strategy Execution: Manage execution and coordination of marketing plans to reach growth targets. Develop, implement, and track business-specific digital marketing initiatives (email, paid media, social, SMS, and JCOM/ecommerce). Design and create marketing materials such as sales and product collateral while ensuring brand guidelines are met. Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities across content development/optimization, advertising, and events. Partner with Merchandising/Product team on product launches and positioning. Data / Analytics Tracking: Monitor identified KPIs, report findings, and collaborate with analytics to analyze campaign performance using Salesforce Reports. Use marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to shape future strategies. Sales Rep Marketing Support: Build relationships with reps, understand their needs to support account growth (e.g., Buy Rate, Net Account growth, Unit Sales, Gross Revenue, EBITDA). Develop collateral, visual merchandising, digital/in-school event support for key events, and enable reps to grow local revenue through corporate marketing support. Prepare materials and products for special events and trade shows. Qualifications Experience: 2-3 years of professional marketing experience. Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing and market research methods. Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Drive: Willingness to learn, creativity, and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. Strong organization and time management; ability to manage multiple priorities. Technical Skills: Experience in collateral development, marketing communications, and managing digital channels (web/ecommerce, print, email, paid search/advertising, SEO/SEM, social, SMS). Preference for social marketing experience and data/analytics literacy. Interest or knowledge in sports. Attention to Detail: Ability to independently manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail; strong writing/editing skills. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with all levels of the organization.
