Overview Lead Editorial Producer, Stay Tuned – Vox Media, New York (US Only). The Lead Editorial Producer will own the production process from concept to publication for Stay Tuned with Preet Bharara, and will contribute editorial content for Substack and the CAFE website, amplifying the show’s impact across platforms. What You’ll Do Lead editorial production of Stay Tuned episodes from concept to publication Assist in editorial production of a new national security and foreign policy focused podcast Collaborate with host(s) and the editorial team to identify timely topics and compelling guests Book guests and, as needed, guest hosts Draft in-depth research memos, scripts, and editorial copy Oversee tapings, recording logistics, and post-production Write companion pieces for Substack and CAFE digital platforms Contribute creative ideas for audience growth, marketing, and promotion Support other CAFE/Vox Media podcasts as needed What You’ll Bring Demonstrated passion for legal, political, and policy news; Legal or policy background strongly preferred Exceptional news judgment and ability to translate complex issues for a broad audience 2+ years of experience in journalism or media production, preferably at a major news organization Strong writing, editing, and research skills Professional maturity, sound judgment, and critical thinking Ability to thrive under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects Familiarity with new media platforms and AI tools is a plus About Vox Media and Our Values Our coverage is guided by intellectual rigor, nuance, calm, and the aim to keep our audience informed without hysteria while building a community dedicated to understanding and defending the rule of law.
