Join to apply for the Force Design Analyst role at CACI International Inc Job Category: Intelligence Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity As a CACI Force Design Analyst directly supporting the Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO), Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict (OASD SO/LIC) you will provide embedded technical analysis and expertise in support of the civilian oversight of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and the execution of Title 10 responsibilities for SOF, including organizing, training, equipping, and resourcing. You will also provide support to the formulation of SOF policies, the analyses of SOF resources, emerging technologies and compartmented programs. Responsibilities Responsible for analyzing force structures to identify strengths, weaknesses, and capability gaps. Support operational analyses (wargaming, modeling & simulation, scenario development) to optimize force organization, equipment, and employment for strategic objectives. Translate operational needs into clear, concise, and quantifiable requirements for new capabilities and systems. Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, robotics, hypersonics, cyber warfare) for potential impact on force design. Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and inform recommendations. Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported reports and briefings for senior leadership. Collaborate with SMEs across disciplines (intelligence, logistics, engineering) to develop comprehensive solutions. Contribute to the development of new concepts of operation (CONOPS) and force design concepts. Maintain a thorough understanding of current and future threats, geopolitical trends, and military doctrine. Qualifications Required: Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7+ years of DoD Force Development and design and/or operational planning experience with PPBES. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in positions of responsibility within an operational or strategic level command or while supporting a DoD contract of similar size and scope. Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real or near real time knowledge management systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail. Desired: Master’s Degree in a relevant field. Experience supporting USSOCOM, Joint Staff, and/or OSD staff organizations. What You Can Expect A culture of integrity.
