Seeking.com, the world's premier luxury dating platform for successful, high-value singles, is launching Seeking Magazine, a digital-first publication designed to become the definitive voice for successful people who prioritize successful relationships. Modeled after world-class lifestyle publications like Robb Report, ForbesLife, and Town & Country, Seeking Magazine will feature thought leadership, relationship insights, lifestyle content, and success stories.
Our long-term vision is to scale the magazine into a recognized digital news destination and ultimately into a premium print edition.
We are seeking a talented Editor who is hungry to build something from the ground up and has the potential to grow into the role of Editor-in-Chief within 18-24 months.
The Role As Editor, You Will
Editorial Leadership
Shape and execute the editorial strategy for Seeking Magazine
Research, write, and edit compelling content on relationships, lifestyle, success, and culture
Develop engaging features, series, and long-form storytelling that resonate with our ambitious, high-value audience
Ensure content quality, originality, and alignment with Seeking.com's brand values
Content Operations
Build and manage a network of freelancers, contributors, and thought leaders
Commission and manage high-quality content from external writers
Maintain an editorial calendar and oversee consistent publication cadence
Implement SEO best practices and work toward syndication platform requirements
Strategic Growth
Track analytics and audience engagement to inform editorial decisions
Collaborate with the Co-CEOs on brand alignment, messaging, and growth strategy
Build processes and systems that can scale as the publication grows
Prepare the foundation for eventual transition into Editor-in-Chief role as the magazine scales
Requirements Must-Haves
Bachelor's degree (Journalism, Communications, English or related field required). Graduate degree preferred. Minor in Economics preferred.
3-7 years of editorial experience (online, digital, or print)
Demonstrated writing and editing excellence with portfolio to match
Strong eye for detail, narrative, and tone
Comfort with digital publishing tools, SEO best practices, and syndication platforms
Entrepreneurial mindset: eager to build processes, experiment, and grow
Cultural alignment with Seeking.com's mission: successful people prioritizing successful relationships
Preferred Qualities
Experience commissioning and managing freelance writers
Familiarity with luxury, lifestyle, or relationship industries
Clear ambition to grow into an Editor-in-Chief role
Data-driven approach to audience development
Network of media contacts and a knack for trend-spotting
Experience with content management systems and analytics tools
Understanding of Google News and other aggregator requirements
