Stonehill College is hiring: Student Photographer/Videographer in Town of Easton

The Office of Communications & Media Relations seeks a dependable, motivated Stonehill student to capture photos and shoot videos highlighting the College’s people and programs. The student will work up to 10 hours per week helping the Assistant Director of Communications & Media Relations develop visual content for Stonehill’s website and social media channels.

Responsibilities:

• Capture photo and video at school events, etc.
• Collaborate with staff to identify photo and video subjects
• Edit photo and video for publication across platforms
• Upload assets to digital asset management system and tag files with metadata

Job Requirements:

• Strong photography and videography skills (candid and photojournalistic)
• Basic knowledge of concepts related to lighting, exposure, etc.
• Experience editing photos and videos using Adobe applications and other similar tools
• Access to equipment necessary to perform job functions (camera, lenses, etc.)
• Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok)
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Dependable, professional and organized
• Able to collaborate with a wide range of photo subjects
• Flexible in terms of schedule (some event coverage may take place outside normal office hours)
• Committed to maintaining confidentiality of office and its constituents
