We are seeking a Media Buyer to enable marketing reach growth at 7thLevel.

The Media Buyer is responsible for purchasing advertising space on digital, print, or broadcast platforms. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that advertisements reach the right audience at the optimal time and cost. By strategically buying media, the Media Buyer will contribute to increasing brand visibility and driving customer engagement, ultimately helping the organization achieve its marketing goals

Compensation: $3,300 monthly plus commission, full-time, 40 hours.

FLSA: Full-time, exempt, regular

Holidays: 13 paid company holidays

Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation accrued annually and 40 hours of paid sick time.

Location: Remote in the Domestic United States, work from home

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage paid media strategies: Create, implement, and monitor comprehensive media buying plans that align with campaign goals and target audiences.

Negotiate and secure media placements: Build relationships with media vendors and owners to negotiate the most effective rates, placements, and frequencies for online, broadcast, and print advertising.

Optimize campaign performance: Continuously analyze campaign data and make real-time adjustments to creative, placements, and bidding to improve return on investment (ROI).

Ensure compliance and quality: Oversee all campaigns to ensure they run accurately, deliver the intended message, and adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Manage campaign budgets: Prepare detailed cost estimates for clients and actively monitor spending to ensure all campaigns remain on budget.

Serve as a key liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and media vendors, providing regular updates on campaign progress and results.

Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with marketing and creative teams to ensure media plans are cohesive and strategically sound.

Present campaign insights: Attend client meetings to report on campaign performance, present strategies, and discuss future opportunities.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Track key performance indicators (KPIs): Monitor and report on campaign performance using relevant metrics to demonstrate effectiveness and ROI.

Analyze market trends: Stay current on industry research, including audience figures, new platforms, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

Inform future strategies: Use campaign data and performance analysis to develop insights that shape and improve future media strategies.

Travel: 5% domestic travel

Perform other miscellaneous functions and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field preferred, but equivalent experience plus high-school diploma will also be considered.

Minimum 3 years media buying experience.

Proven success in negotiating and budget management

Strong track record of providing excellent customer service.

Exceptional proficiency in media buying tools and platforms (e.g. Google Adwords, Facebook Ads Manager, etc)

Exceptional communication and relationship management skills

High proficiency in project management.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple campaigns.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Proficient in Google Suite

Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize

Strong attention to detail
