KFOX14 is looking for a dynamic full-time Morning News Anchor for our four-hour morning newscast. The ideal candidate is an outstanding journalist with a great personality, a strong leader, and a collaborative team player who participates in show planning and content production. A competitive passion to win and openness to innovation are mandatory. The candidate should embrace social media and consistently engage with the audience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the planning of morning newscasts.
• Produce and package compelling content for daily broadcast.
• Engage with audiences on social media and adapt to feedback.
• Collaborate with the news team to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills
• Smooth and pleasant on-air delivery
• Strong writing skills and news judgment
• Sharp video shooting and editing skills
• Exemplary communication skills

Requirements and Experience

• You must have at least 4 years of on-air experience
• Live commercial television experience is a must
• Strong "in-the-field and live" skills
• Exceptional written communications skills using a conversational writing style
• Strong editorial judgment and a proven ethical foundation
