Overview

Technician positions travel regionally to perform automotive calibration, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and audio system work in vehicles. This is a 100% travel role with deployments ranging from 1-2 weeks for smaller jobs to 4-7 weeks for larger projects. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Base pay range

$22.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking professional team members with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a willingness to learn. We welcome candidates ranging from helper technicians to experienced technicians and lead technicians. Experience with ADAS installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting is highly valued, along with vehicle diagnostics and integration of ADAS technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure successful completion of services
  • Installation and setup (low voltage): install network cabling and infrastructure including fiber, patch panels, switches, routers, security systems, and audiovisual equipment
  • Installation and setup (telematic): install telematics devices (GPS, vehicle tracking, wireless equipment) and ensure proper integration with vehicle systems
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting: perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and upgrade software/hardware as needed
  • Documentation and reporting: maintain accurate records and prepare reports on system performance and customer feedback
  • Quality delivery: ensure timely submission of deliverables and maintain high-quality standards
  • 12-volt vehicle upfitting/outfitting for various vehicle types
  • Installing GPS antennas, DVRs, monitors, exterior cameras, and related components

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Calibrate ADAS components (cameras, sensors, radar) with proper integration to vehicle systems
  • Familiarity with vehicle electrical/electronics
  • Strong technical knowledge of ADAS, diagnostics, and audio systems
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, manuals, and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills for client and team interaction
  • Technical diploma or certification in electronics/automotive technology (preferred)
  • 3+ years in automotive calibration, ADAS, or vehicle audio technology (preferred)
  • Proficiency with diagnostic software/tools (preferred)
  • Previous experience with ADAS systems and vehicle electronics (preferred)

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Field and workshop environment; travel to client sites
  • Ability to work in varied settings, including tight spaces
  • Prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, crouching; alternating between sitting/standing
  • Ability to climb steps/ladders; lift up to 75 lbs (and 35 lbs overhead)
  • Manual dexterity and good vision/hearing; effective communication
