Job Description

Raritan Valley Community College is looking for part-time instructors to teach Communication Studies courses. Openings may include Communication Theory, Mass Communication, Intercultural Communication, and Interpersonal Communication. These courses help students understand how communication works in everyday life, across cultures, in relationships, and through various media. Students explore key concepts such as identity, language, media influence, cultural perspectives, and how we connect with others.

We’re Looking For Instructors Who

  • Know the core concepts in communication studies
  • Can lead engaging discussions and help students apply what they learn
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment

Requirements: A Master’s degree in Communication or a closely related field is required. Prior teaching experience is needed; college-level teaching is preferred. Positions are located on the Main RVCC Campus unless otherwise noted.
