Responsibilities

• Volunteer in roles such as Companion Volunteer, Pet Therapy, Veteran Volunteer, Office Volunteer, or Crafting Volunteer to support hospice patients.
• Share time with patients in the Grand Rapids area and surrounding communities.
• Visit assigned patients 1–2 hours per week, providing companionship and active listening.
• Share music with hospice patients in local nursing facilities or in patients’ homes if you enjoy singing or playing an instrument.

Qualifications

• No special skills are required beyond a listening ear and an open heart.

Grand Rapids, MI and surrounding areas: Grand Rapids, Big Rapids, Wayland/Hastings, Greenville, Rockford, Holland, Saugatuck/Douglas.
