Ophthalmic Photographer – Actalent, Conroe, Texas (Contract-to-Hire)

About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Photographer to join our dynamic clinical team. This role plays a vital part in patient care by capturing high-quality ophthalmic images and supporting clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and document patient history and visual acuity tests
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow
- Capture high-resolution OCTs and OCTAs
- Perform IVFA and ICG procedures
- Take fundus, anterior segment, and external photographs
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in ophthalmic photography, especially fundus imaging
- Experience with OCT technology and basic ophthalmology knowledge
- Strong computer skills
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a related field
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Preferred certifications: COA, OCT-C, CRA
Work Environment
- Schedule varies between 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, depending on clinic needs
- Initial training provided at the Galleria administration building
- Primary work location: Bellaire Clinic, one of Houston’s busiest clinics (80–100 patients/day)
- Occasional support at Cypress, Katy, and Sugarland locations
- Team-oriented setting with 8–24 staff members per physician
- Fast-paced clinical environment
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs, short/groomed nails, hair tied back

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
