About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Photographer to join our dynamic clinical team. This role plays a vital part in patient care by capturing high-quality ophthalmic images and supporting clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain and document patient history and visual acuity tests
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow
  • Capture high-resolution OCTs and OCTAs
  • Perform IVFA and ICG procedures
  • Take fundus, anterior segment, and external photographs
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in ophthalmic photography, especially fundus imaging
  • Experience with OCT technology and basic ophthalmology knowledge
  • Strong computer skills
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a related field
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Preferred certifications: COA, OCT-C, CRA

Work Environment

  • Schedule varies between 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, depending on clinic needs
  • Initial training provided at the Galleria administration building
  • Primary work location: Bellaire Clinic, one of Houston’s busiest clinics (80–100 patients/day)
  • Occasional support at Cypress, Katy, and Sugarland locations
  • Team-oriented setting with 8–24 staff members per physician
  • Fast-paced clinical environment
  • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs, short/groomed nails, hair tied back

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
