The Role

We’re looking for a PR Account Executive with 2–4 years of experience to join our team at The Colab. If you’ve worked at a mid-sized agency, love chasing stories, can juggle deadlines like a pro, and thrive in a fast-moving environment that actually respects your time, you’ll feel right at home.

This role is perfect for someone eager to sharpen their craft alongside a supportive, high-caliber team. We’re fully remote, allergic to micromanagement, and obsessed with doing great work while keeping things fun and drama-free.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting client accounts and day-to-day execution
• Drafting and sending smart pitches that land coverage in top outlets
• Building and maintaining media lists while growing your own reporter relationships
• Tracking wins, pulling coverage, and updating reports with accuracy and polish
• Creating briefing documents, meeting recaps, and keeping projects on track
• Drafting press releases, bylines, and award submissions with editorial guidance
• Jumping into brainstorms and contributing fresh, creative ideas
• Monitoring media trends and spotting opportunities before they hit the market

You’ll Thrive Here If You…

• Have 2–4 years of agency experience, ideally at a mid-sized PR or comms firm
• Know the B2B tech media landscape and are excited to deepen those relationships
• Are a strong writer who enjoys pitching and storytelling
• Bring clarity, confidence, and warmth to client and team interactions
• Are detail-obsessed, proactive, and love keeping things organized
• Want to grow in a place that invests in your career

Nice-to-Haves (but not required):

• Familiarity with tools like MuckRack, Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace
