Responsibilities

• Write and distribute press releases to media outlets
• Organize and maintain a PR database for effective communication
• Liaise between clients and media, responding to information requests as needed
• Develop and execute custom PR strategies based on thorough analysis
• Engage with online communities and interact via social media to enhance client visibility

Qualifications

• Prior experience in public relations and social media
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Ability to write and distribute press releases effectively
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST

Preferred Qualifications

• Journalism background or media training
• Experience with services like HARO and Muck Rack
• Proven track record of published content on authoritative sites
• Great professional relationships with writers, journalists, bloggers, and influencers
