Sr. Public Relations Account Executive Job at HAUS in Salt Lake City

Responsibilities

• Execute PR campaigns and media outreach for 3 client accounts
• Develop and pitch story angles to targeted media lists
• Draft press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials
• Schedule and manage media interviews between clients and journalists
• Maintain media relationships and respond promptly to journalist inquiries
• Track and report on PR metrics and campaign performance
• Support PR Directors in developing quarterly PR plans and strategies
• Manage day-to-day client communications via email and Slack

Requirements

• 3+ years of media relations experience with B2B tech startups in-house or at an agency
• Strong media pitching skills with demonstrated placement success
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience with PR tools like Cision, Meltwater, or similar platforms
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Understanding of the technology media landscape

Preferences

• Experience with deep tech or scientific PR campaigns
• Basic Python or coding skills for workflow automation
• Previous work with early-stage startups
• Interest in learning about complex technologies
• Experience with Streak CRM or similar tools

Salary Range

$80,000 - 95,000

Location

Fully remote with occasional travel for annual company summit or client work
