Speechify’s text-to-speech products turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio so people can read faster, read more, and remember more. Our products include iOS, Android, Mac, Chrome Extension, and Web apps. Speechify has been recognized as Chrome Extension of the Year and App of the Day.

Today, nearly 200 people work remotely in a 100% distributed setting. We have engineers across frontend and backend, AI research scientists, and team members from leading tech companies and universities.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain Speechify’s Creator Studio found at speechify.com/studio
• Integrate AI models to provide state-of-the-art voiceovers, dubbing, voice cloning, and more

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• Experience with AWS/GCS and building service architectures leveraging these services
• Experience building scalable architectures using microservices
• Experience writing testable code and improving testing infrastructure
• Proficiency with React and the modern React stack, or NodeJS, or both
• Understanding of low-level JavaScript and ability to profile and optimize SPA frontend and backend performance
• Preferred: video and audio processing experience

Salary

• The United States base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000-$200,000 plus bonus and equity, depending on experience
