Job Title: Studio Advisor

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the BODYROK Service Promise; contribute to running a clean, friendly, and well-maintained studio; comply with the dress code and be on time.
  • Assist members/guests in person and via email inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly studio, including bathrooms, changing rooms, towels/laundry, and trash.
  • Initiate tasks and perform duties without direction or micromanagement.
  • Monitor incoming emails and ensure proper check-in procedures are followed.
  • Tour potential members through the studio and connect guests to facilities, equipment, services, and amenities.
  • Handle member service issues (address changes, payments, billing questions) and update relevant logs.
  • Promote and sell merchandise; promote specials to current and future guests; follow up with enrolled members to ensure expectations are met.

Compensation

This is an hourly position with a base rate plus commission potential. Earnings are commission-based with no explicit thresholds.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Member and Guest Check-in Compliance
  • Greet members and guests; ensure check-in procedures are followed; thank guests on exit.
  • Sales
  • Create new business through member promotions, referrals, and inquiries
  • Promote and reach out to existing and potential members via email
  • Reconcile and report all transitions
  • Attain personal sales revenue targets
  • Customer Service & Operations
  • Tour potential members; connect guests to services and amenities
  • Handle billing questions and update logs
  • Keep front desk area clean and organized
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including hourly bathroom/studio checks
  • Follow up with members who enroll to exceed expectations
  • Provide high-level customer service in all interactions

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
  • 1-2 years MindBody software experience preferred
  • Competitive drive to succeed in commission-based environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of sales practices and techniques
  • Independent, self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Friendly, warm, welcoming personality; easy to talk to and comfortable around new people
  • Available to work at least 2 weekend days per month

Certifications / Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, walk, kneel, and reach with hands and arms; may lift/move up to 25 lbs

Work Environment

  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts; loud studio environment
  • Must be comfortable interacting with people and making them feel welcome
