Job Description:

Bring your passion for creating an amazing user experience to Booz Allen. We need an experienced front-end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to support content managers by collaborating with a development team to build on top of WordPress.

On our team, you’ll coordinate with UI and UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front-end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities:

You will use your skills to create an experience that delivers functionality and efficiency, guide a development team, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with PHP development
• 2+ years of experience with web development
• 1+ years of experience with development on WordPress
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with PHP development
• 3+ years of experience with development on WordPress
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or a related field
• UI or UX Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
