What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Provide writing instruction and feedback to doctoral students in various programs
• Create and deliver live and prerecorded webinars and instructional resources
• Develop and lead new services for doctoral students in the Online Writing Center
• Foster professional relationships with students and communicate their progress
• Analyze data to report on service effectiveness and promote student retention

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Master’s degree required; doctoral degree preferred, from an accredited institution
• Graduate-level teaching or tutoring experience required
• Expertise in APA style (7th edition) and familiarity with social science research
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience with online learning technologies for feedback to nontraditional and multilingual learners
• Expertise in research publication
• Capacity for ongoing learning in theories of writing and online higher education
• Highly self-motivated with outstanding organizational skills
