- Justify design decisions to peers/internal teams through reviews and critiques of your solution that consistently present the customer perspective.
- Document your design through wireframes, site architectures and user flows, and specifications.
- Innovative and intuitive UI design that helps users accomplish their tasks, executing cross-device fluid or adaptive responsive layouts and adoption of patterns from existing design systems.
- Demonstrate clear communication, organization, and writing skills.
- Deliver your work professionally, on or before the deadline, with some autonomy and limited oversight.
- Understand and adapt to changing or shifting priorities within or across multiple projects.
- Prioritize and promote user research.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and analyses.
- Understand different testing methods, both qualitative and quantitative, and effectively communicate your learnings to inform the design process.
- Prototype to conduct user studies that aid in choosing a design direction or validate a concept.
- Demonstrate being a proven team-player and have the ability to earn the trust of clients and colleagues.
BENEFICIAL SKILLS:
- Experience with designing for accessibility standards.
- Experience using and defining design systems for enterprise-level solutions.
- UX design tools such as Figma.
- Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager or another enterprise CMS.
- HTML, CSS, and browser technology.
- Experience with design guidelines for native mobile platforms.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
We understand that formal education or time spent within related work experience for UX professionals can vary quite a bit. For this role on our team, we will take all your experiences into account in our evaluation: the certificates you've earned, undergraduate and graduate degrees, relevant work experience, freelance history, and so on.
Ideally, you will have 3-5 years of UX experience, however we do encourage candidates to apply even if you haven't worked as a UX architect specifically.
