The Royal Caribbean Group’s Architecture & Design Team has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Lead, Designer reporting to the Senior Manager, Architecture & Design. This person will work onsite Monday-Thursday in Miami. Responsibilities Develop, prepare, and coordinate PowerPoint presentations and documentation materials. Have a good understanding of the construction documentation phases and materials delivered. Capable of providing digital markups during document review. Work collaboratively alongside your team to meet project deadlines and milestones. Create presentations showcasing construction milestones to share recommendations with senior management. Lead product development process for global regions Private Destinations while working closely with the Project Team on concept development, programming, and the accurate execution of concepts to ensure innovation and authenticity are maximized. Work closely with key stakeholders from various departments to adapt and evolve the strategy for delivering a flawless product at private destinations. Ensure that the created product is desirable and viable for Royal Caribbean Group’s future guests at private destinations. Performs other duties as required. International travel (primarily focused in the Caribbean). Qualifications, Knowledge And Skills Professional accredited degree in Architecture. 1-5 years’ continuous professional working experience. Excellent design skills. Technical experience with AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office. Understanding of Autodesk or of a similar working platform. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Problem solving skills, attention to detail, motivation to learn. Collaborative and professional work ethic. Experience with commercial projects (retail, restaurant, hospitality). Demonstrate high standard of personal accountability and integrity. Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions. Self-motivated and self-directed. Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Data Driven.
