The Senior Video Editor will support the I Am Athlete Platform and report to the Director of Production. You are responsible for delivering final episodes on schedule and managing the post-production process. The ideal candidate has an exceptional work ethic and the ability to work independently and experience with Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, After Effects, and Photoshop. You have exceptional communication and organizational skills while thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Manage all aspects of content post-production, including but not limited to post-production project management, additional editors, colorists, and audio engineers
Deliver the final episodes on schedule
Sync footage and create multi-cam projects/sequences
Manage the timeline of your projects from inception to delivery
Apply graphic elements, color correction, and audio mix to videos
Maintain a consistent and organized workflow to ensure proper deadline delivery
Coordinate execution of teasers, and promotional clips
Assist the production team as needed in creative and/or project management
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years experience editing documentaries or video podcasts
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, Media Encoder, After Effects
Ability to efficiently navigate projects and round-trip assets to and from multiple applications
Strong understanding and execution of video and graphic production workflows, asset management, storage, and archive
Strong understanding of color correction and grading skills
Knowledge of third party plugins
Expertise in the latest technology trends, techniques, and tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills and practices
Ability to effectively handle stress, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
Passion for health and fitness
Willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
