Job Title: UX Researcher cum Designer Location: Dallas, TX / Broadway 12th street, New York Duration: Longterm Contract/Full Time Must: Experience with both Researcher and Designer hands on wireframing, also strong on Figma Look for a good senior UX designer would typically have good research experience as well 60% research and 40% design Job Description Job Overview The UX Research, Design & Usability Leader will drive the design and user experience strategy for the Digital Products in the Fintech vertical, with a primary focus on creating Consumer Experience Platforms for Lending Products (mortgages, consumer loans, auto loans, commercial loans). Research Own end-to-end research function for the pod: Plan, design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research (discovery, usability testing, customer interviews, survey design, and synthesis.) Collaborate closely with our Lead Designer and Client Design Director to inform, shape, and validate design decisions. Plan and conduct concept and prototype testing using leading platforms (e.g., UserTesting.com, Maze, Dscout, Hotjar, Optimal Workshop). Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and can lead research independently in a small team setup. Apply appropriate research frameworks based on business needs. Design Strong command of Figma - you can collaborate within design systems, edit components, and contribute to production-ready designs. Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Design System. Facilitate collaborative sessions to deliver user journey mapping , persona development , or experience workshops . Someone skilled in rapid product and concept testing, with a strong focus on designing solutions tailored to Fintech, would be highly preferred. Mortgage knowledge is a plus but not required. They will work with Design Agencies, Product Designers, User Researchers, and Usability Testers, and provide them with guidance, feedback, and mentorship. They will work closely with the Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders to define the vision, scope, and roadmap of the Digital Products, and ensure that they meet the needs and expectations of the customers and the business. They will champion a user-centric design approach that integrates generative AI/GPT models into the design process to enhance user interactions and deliver personalized experiences, utilize conversation AI engines to enhance communication channels within the Consumer Experience Platforms for effective and natural interactions, and explore integrations with voice assistances such as Alexa, Google, and Siri to create seamless and voice-driven user experiences.
