Overview

Founded in 2021, and opened to the public in fall of 2024, the Museum of Art + Light (MoA+L) is a contemporary art museum that explores the convergence of visual art, the creative process and digital technology.

Our Mission — to bridge 21st century technology with the visual and performing arts to incite positive emotion, cultivate meaningful connections, encourage artistic exploration, and spark innovation.

MoA+L captivates audiences through rotating exhibitions on three floors, including physical fine art objects and digital immersive experiences. Exhibitions provide multi-sensory experiences that connect visitors—families, youth, artists, community partners, and educators—to conversation and personal meaning.

Our Values — central to our mission is the promotion, understanding, and appreciation of the arts through educational experiences that foster self-reflection, critical and creative thinking, emotional responses, well-being, and community partnerships.

Summary of Position

  • Ensure a safe, energized, and professional work environment that fosters creativity and technical excellence.
  • Set and maintain the standard for AV innovation across the Museum’s spaces to deliver world-class visitor experiences.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical and AV-related challenges with professionalism and creativity.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of video codecs, rendering workflows, and signal distribution formats with experience in systems integration.
