Location: Los Angeles, CA · Seattle, WA · Florida
Duration: 22-Month Contract
Industry: Travel, Hospitality, Digital Experiences
About the Role:
We’re looking for a fearless UX/Product Designer to lead the design of immersive, intuitive digital experiences for a global travel and entertainment brand. This role will focus on shaping web and mobile experiences for luxury cruise platforms, with potential to expand into other high-profile guest service offerings.
This long-term opportunity is ideal for a story-driven designer with a strong balance of UX and visual design capabilities. We’re seeking someone who brings a fresh perspective, excels in high-frequency growth environments, and can turn complex user needs into cohesive, delightful experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive, high-impact experiences for both web and mobile (mobile-first, platform-agnostic)
- Create and iterate on interactive prototypes using Figma
- Leverage motion design and visual storytelling to deliver memorable, elegant UI solutions
- Work cross-functionally with product managers, tech leads, and fellow designers
- Drive forward design thinking, influence direction, and champion the user throughout the process
- Lead and contribute to design system evolution and team-wide design critiques
What We're Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience designing polished, end-to-end digital experiences (portfolio required)
- Deep fluency with Figma for UI design and prototyping
- Strong balance of interaction design and visual design — a true Product Design native
- Collaborative, proactive communicator who can build rapport across functions and levels
- Brings a self-driven design process while also contributing to a shared creative culture
- Experience with or interest in motion design, storytelling, and persuasive UI a strong plus
Ideal Candidate Traits:
- Equal strength in UX and Visual Design
- A storyteller who connects product design with user emotion and impact
- Optimistic, growth-oriented, and able to drive momentum in complex environments
- Confident under pressure; performs well in fast-paced, evolving contexts
- Comes equipped with their own workflow, tools, and ability to hit the ground running
Interview Focus:
Expect a behavioral and situational interview, including questions like:
- How do you behave when the going gets tough?
- What type of collaborator are you?
- Are you stronger in UX or Visual Design? (We're looking for both.)
Tools & Technologies:
- Figma (required)
- Bonus if familiar with: design systems, prototyping tools, motion design platforms, or animation workflows
