TITLE CINEMA 4D ARTIST - VISUAL EFFECTS

DESCRIPTION

Mills James is looking for an experienced and visionary Cinema 4D Artist to join our fast-paced post-production team in Cincinnati. This full-time, on-site position supports high-end commercial projects for a Fortune 500 client and other top-tier brands. Were seeking a visual storyteller who thrives on creating photorealistic effectsespecially water, smoke, and fire simulationsand collaborating with fellow creatives to deliver compelling visual content.

What Youll Do

• Create and composite high-end 3D visual effectsincluding water, smoke, fire, and other natural phenomenafor commercial and branded content
• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, editors, and other team members to bring creative visions to life
• Integrate 3D and 2D animation seamlessly into live-action footage with an eye for photorealism and continuity
• Ensure all VFX work meets high standards for technical execution and storytelling clarity
• Contribute to VFX pipeline development and best practice documentation
• Participate in internal reviews and occasional client sessions to explain or refine visual direction
• Work under tight deadlines while maintaining a polished, professional output

What Youll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in visual effects production for film, television, advertising, or high-end digital content
• Advanced skills in Cinema 4D; familiarity with Houdini, Maya, After Effects, and/or Nuke is a strong plus
• Demonstrated expertise in photorealistic simulations of elements such as water, smoke, and fire
• Strong understanding of lighting, rendering, shading, camera tracking, and compositing techniques
• A polished demo reel or portfolio that showcases recent, high-quality VFX work (link required with application)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a client-focused mindset
• Ability to self-direct and also thrive in a team-oriented, creative environment
• Experience working with high-profile brands or commercial clients is preferred
• Submit a link to your VFX portfolio or demo reel showcasing your best workespecially fluid, fire, or smoke effects
