Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Project Architect with a focus on federal projects to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading architectural design processes, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines, and delivering high-quality construction documents. This position offers the opportunity to work on significant projects that contribute to the community and environment while promoting sustainable practices. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process for federal projects from concept through completion.
- Prepare and oversee construction documents and specifications to ensure compliance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to define project requirements and objectives.
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for design and documentation purposes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to monitor progress and compliance during construction phases.
- Ensure that all projects adhere to sustainability standards and pursue LEED certification when applicable.
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on best practices in architectural design and documentation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Registered Architect with AIA and NCARB certifications.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, particularly in federal projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation processes and federal regulations.
- Experience in sustainable design practices and LEED accreditation is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
