Overview
Group Creative Lead, Global Ads Marketing at Google. This role leads the Creative Center of Excellence (CoE) and drives breakthrough assets that influence the ads industry and Google’s branding across events and campaigns.
Location: You will have the opportunity to share your preferred working location from New York, NY, USA; San Francisco, CA, USA.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience working in a creative discipline (e.g., writing, filmmaking, video editing, design, art direction, photography, etc.).
- A portfolio of creative work displaying experience in (Brand, Interactive, Conceptual, Experiential, or Technology) design.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience crystallizing complex brands and product portfolios into simple concepts and compelling creative articulations.
- Ability to lead, communicate, and be a thought leader on marketing techniques, trends, engaged landscape and best practices.

As a Group Creative Lead, you'll be the architect and leader behind our Creative Center of Excellence (CoE), a team of creatives responsible for delivering breakthrough assets that capture attention and fundamentally shift perception in today’s ads industry. Your influence will span from owning the overarching strategic goal for the Creative CoE and refining Ads Marketing’s broader brand strategy, to orchestrating iconic creative for events like Google Marketing Live and Think Week. You’ll lead the development of high-production-value anthem videos and scalable content bundles, ensuring our narratives resonate broadly. You will manage in-house teams and agencies to deliver Google-grade quality and push the boundaries of innovation. You’ll advocate creative excellence, building the guidelines and infrastructure to inspire marketers globally. You’ll work with leadership across Product, Sales, and Go-To-Market teams to align creative goals with business objectives.
You will navigate complex cross-functional relationships, inspire accountability and resourcefulness, and lead with goal-oriented agility in fast-moving or resource-constrained environments.

Compensation: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$311,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by location and other factors. Responsibilities
- Own the Creative CoE strategic goal. Lead the Ads Marketing Creative CoE, refining its operating model and Marketing’s brand strategy.
- Oversee the creative strategy and execution for Google's events, including Google Marketing Live and Think Week.
- Lead the concept, development, and production of asset bundles, including high-production-value anthem videos and scalable content bundles for broad distribution.
- Provide leadership to your team, fostering accountability, innovation, and resourcefulness in a fast-moving environment.
- Navigate cross-functional partnerships with leadership across Product, Sales, and GTM teams to align creative strategies with business goals.
