Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages platforms across WM channels and client segments to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. WM Platforms consists of sub-teams including Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow Solutions, Digital Trading & Investing, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution, Business Control & Support, and the Chief Operating Office. The Morgan Stanley Design Systems and Research Center for Excellence (COE) supports 500+ tools for Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors and more. Our mission is to help design, product, and tech partners build more effective, user-centered experiences through a cohesive design system. We are seeking a UX COE Program Manager, Associate, to implement process and structure, strengthen partner relationships, and address growth-stage challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Support and assist in optimizing processes, tools, calendar, and workflows across UX Centers of Excellence (COE).
  • Define and lead team meetings and team retrospectives.
  • Perform backlog refinement for the Research team.
  • Lead Scrum and Agile ceremonies for the design language team, while staying connected to Agile teams within Wealth Management Technology.
  • Assist in assessing changing project scopes and staffing needs on the research and design language teams.
  • Support tooling and vendor relationships; plan internal and external workshops.
  • Support maintenance and governance of the Research Repository.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience as a member of a design team or front-end development team, with experience in a support or associate role.
  • Knowledge of the Agile process and Scrum ceremonies.
  • Understanding of how user experience design and research teams work and their role within the product and development lifecycle.
  • Experience working in financial services or comparable industries, supporting complex projects with multiple inputs and phases.
  • Established relationships and ability to support multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Natural communicator; experience partnering and building bridges with stakeholders, teams, and agencies.
  • Organized with the ability to support high-complexity workflows across moving teams.

Salary range for the position: $80,000–$105,000 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
