The role you will contribute:
The Design Researcher is principally responsible for collecting, processing, interpreting, formulating reports, and making recommendations based on research findings. This position conducts on-site ethnography and interviews in hospitals, office environments, and consumers' homes. Additionally, this role applies both qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, meet deadlines, prepare written client deliverables, present findings, and produce substantiated recommendations. In addition, this position works closely with the Design Team and Design Director to translate insights into actionable design criteria for new products, services, and customer experiences. Ensures strong initiative, follow-through, and anticipation of client needs while being resourceful, professional, and a team player.

- Designs comprehensive research methodologies tailored to gather insights from consumers, stakeholders, and industry leaders.
- Develops detailed research briefs outlining goals, objectives, and recommended methodologies.
- Plans and executes ethnographic research in various environments, including hospitals, offices, and homes.
- Conducts and moderates one-on-one interviews and focus groups to collect qualitative data.
- Designs and evaluates quantitative surveys to gather statistical data.
- Writes discussion guides to ensure structured and effective interviews and focus groups.
- Creates screeners for recruiting qualified participants and collaborates with recruiting companies.
- Assesses vendor proposals and guides research methods to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Prepares detailed reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Presents findings and recommendations to senior leadership and internal clients.
- Disseminates healthcare data and information to prospective clients.
- Prepares presentations and narrative reports to communicate research findings to team members, administration, and operations.
