Responsibilities
- Store Merchandising: Receive deliveries and check in stock; Daily bread counts; Food preparation including bread and cookie baking
- Food Safety: Comply with Food Code of Practice; Ensure food is prepared and stored and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards; Carry out temperature checks and record as per company process; Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules as per cleaning chart
- Security & Loss Prevention: Take precautions to prevent theft of, and damage to, the stock or store; Follow company security procedures; Secure cash and stock from loss or theft
- Cashier Operations: Count end of shift monies and drop in safe
- Occupational Health & Safety: Follow safety procedures to prevent injury; Provide a safe work environment for employees and customers
- Personal Qualities: Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet SUBWAY and customer expectations; Work as a team member; Complete training courses as directed by the SUBWAY Manager
- Key Challenges: Ensure customers are served in an efficient and friendly manner; Maintain high personal standards in both presentation and work habits; Ensure that Health and Safety standards are met; Complete daily work routines in an efficient and timely manner
- Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned
