Miami Dade College is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to serve as the Creative Director at Wolfson Campus. The Creative Director is a visionary force behind Miami Dade College’s brand expression, leading a dynamic team of creative professionals and collaborating with top-tier agencies and vendors to deliver bold, compelling, and unforgettable campaigns.

Base pay range

$94,419.00/yr - $118,024.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Leads, inspires, and mentors a team of creative professionals to push boundaries and deliver exceptional, brand-elevating work
  • Provides guidance and direction to ensure the highest quality of creative output and adherence to project timelines and objectives
  • Fosters a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and professional growth
  • Leads the ideation and execution of breakthrough brand and enrollment campaigns that captivate audiences and amplify the College’s voice across all platforms
  • Oversees the design and production of marketing materials, including print and digital to streaming, signage, and multimedia—ensuring each piece is visually stunning, strategically sound, and on-brand
  • Partners with external agencies and vendors to ensure creative deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements
  • Ensures all creative work is accessible to all and in compliance with ADA standards
  • Ensures consistency in design and messaging across all marketing channels and platforms
  • Stays abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform creative direction and innovation
  • Develops and maintains creative guidelines and standards to ensure brand consistency and integrity across all marketing materials and communications
  • Provides guidance and training to internal stakeholders on brand identity, design principles, and best practices
  • Oversees all work completed by the design team, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and professionalism
  • Conducts regular reviews and evaluations to assess performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement

Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, Communications, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in design, marketing, brand development, or a related field with a proven track record of success; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and nine (9) years of directly related experience
