The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online High School Level American Literature tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

• Tutor online one-on-one High School Level American Literature sessions.
• Provide personalized instruction and adapt to different learning styles.
• Leverage the Live Learning Platform to deliver engaging, effective lessons without commuting.
• Utilize available tools (e.g., Tutor Copilot) to enhance instruction, save prep time, and focus on student learning.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; rates can reach up to $40/hour with continuing sessions with the same student.
• Paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Remote tutoring with no commuting required.
• We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and we process payments.
