Overview
Motion Graphic Designer (Remote) at Cella.
Location: Remote - US Based. Not accepting candidates located in NY, NJ, CT, VA, Washington DC, and CA.
Schedule: Full-time, regular business hours 9am-6pm EST.
Duration: 3 months to start, with potential to extend in 6-month increments.
Compensation Range: $32.00 - $40.50/hr W2.
Responsibilities
- Design and create assets, bring them to life, and deliver high-quality motion graphic content.
- Produce complex animated graphics and infographics, kinetic typography, and pre/post-production video.
- Edit raw video footage and add elements to enhance motion graphics.
- Produce project deliverables specializing in animation, audio, and video.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and lead project teams in motion graphic processes, methods, and techniques.
- Consult with clients to produce creative storytelling by preparing design plans, storyboards, concepts, and layouts for motion graphic projects.
- Lead and influence strategic visions to help internal clients solve complex business challenges with innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia/Digital Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Digital creative portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills.
- Five years of related motion design experience.
- Creative thinker with a range of styles and techniques.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; basic understanding of Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge of typography and brand color usage for legibility and functionality.
- Creative and technical expertise with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and related tools.
- Proficiency with various third-party motion graphic plugins (e.g., Red Giant).
- Experience with Unity or another real-time application is a plus.
- Knowledge/experience in 3D modeling/animation (Cinema 4D preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of video production techniques.
