Overview

Video Production Specialist role at Nebraska Public Media. The position is responsible for operating on-air graphics systems and studio/remote cameras during live studio and remote productions. It supports high-quality broadcast workflows and ensures smooth execution of live events. The role also assists with operating EVS replay systems, technical directing (TD) multi-camera productions, and shooting and editing single-camera productions.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in broadcasting or related field and one year experience in media production or equivalent
• Additional relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
• Working knowledge of production tools including television cameras, replay servers, editing systems, lighting and audio equipment
• Knowledge of multiple video formats and range of production techniques from simple to moderately complex
• Familiar with various graphics systems in the remote truck, studio, and offline work station
• Basic computer and editing skills
