Position Design Project Manager - Data Center Design - Remote at Arcadis Overview Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. Role description This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the USA. The successful candidate should expect to travel up to 30% of the time domestically within the United States related to site and client location work. Arcadis works with some of the largest data center providers in the world, and we are growing our American Places group with experienced Data Center Design Project Managers. Role accountabilities Facilitate client requirements for the design of hyperscale data centers throughout the United States Manage the design process from campus planning/basis of design through issuance of construction drawings, including creating a shared plan for execution and oversight of construction administration services provided by external design teams, coordinating procurement, issuing and administering change orders related to design and project scope, and issuing engineering information to related vendors and suppliers Work with internal and external teams to build strong relationships, ensure clear project communication, and drive milestone and deadline achievement Travel to project sites and client meetings as needed (up to 30% of the schedule) Ensure project deliverables meet milestones and are presented in the format required by the final client and related teams Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of project design experience with data center designs or large complex construction projects (e.g., hospitals, high-rises, laboratories, manufacturing plants, or high-power plants) Experience coordinating internal and external multidisciplinary teams and working directly with final client teams Experience in preparing project plans, technical specifications, development of project implementation plans and schedules, and coordinating teams Experience with Autodesk platforms (Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM) or similar engineered solutions Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering; licensure (PE, NCARB, RA) strongly preferred Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects with evolving priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment Why Arcadis We empower everyone to be their best. Compensation & Benefits Arcadis offers benefits for full-time and part-time positions, including medical, dental, vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition programs, and optional wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance, and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days of PTO per year. Salary range for this position is $80,461 - $132,761.
