The Wahpeton Daily News is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Advertising Sales Representative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to connect with local businesses, help them grow through effective marketing, and be part of a trusted community news organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and organizations
- Develop and pitch advertising solutions across print, digital, and specialty products
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
- Manage client accounts from prospecting through campaign delivery
- Represent the paper at community events and networking opportunities
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of local business community is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
