Overview
Design Assistant
Jess Lea is seeking for a full-time detail-oriented, friendly & organized Design Assistant. The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards & assist the design team. This is a full-time position. Come work at our fast-growing company with a fun work environment!
Responsibilities
- Keep samples organized
- Assist in creating design orders and sample notes
- Complete retail returns
- Complete weekly line sheets for wholesale launch
- Measure new styles and create size charts
- Assist in preparing for markets
- Checking packing slips against ordered inventory
- Assist in creating trend reports
- Creating barcodes for new products
- Rebagging and tagging products to be returned to warehouse
- Add products to Shopify
- Help team prepare for photoshoots & travel
- Help prepare outfits for photoshoots
- Demonstrates a passion for fashion by understanding trends
- Assist Jess Lea team with any additional tasks needed
- Preparing meeting and training rooms for design meetings
- Keep fabrics organized
- Assist in maintaining third party platforms
- Source new manufacturers
- Send invoices
- Assist with virtual meetings
- Manage Dropbox
Requirements
- Ability to work well under limited supervision
- Must be available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
- Reliable transportation
