Position Summary

Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety). Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards by training associates on logistics, policies, standards, and procedures; monitoring compliance; distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation. Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others to determine corrective actions or recommendations. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling company policies and procedures; identifying training needs and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation.

Live Better U is Walmart’s education benefit program for associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities, with programs ranging from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English language learning and certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are paid by Walmart. Eligibility may apply and benefits are subject to change.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 - $98,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Some positions may include RPZ-based adjustments and stock opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing as part of daily operations.
  • Implement the area business plan by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, and coordinating workloads.
  • Monitor productivity and analyze business reports to ensure targets are met.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by training associates on policies, procedures, and safety requirements; ensure policy compliance.
  • Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns; determine corrective actions or recommendations.
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders; assign duties; monitor performance; provide feedback; participate in hiring, coaching, and evaluations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year supervisory experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience OR 2 years Walmart Logistics experience OR 2 years supervisory experience. Associates will be required to attend and complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Office, Supervising Associates, Walmart Logistics Manager; Bachelors in Business or Logistics (preferred).
