Draper Media is hiring: PHOTOJOURNALIST / VIDEO EDITOR in Salisbury

Overview

WBOC TV is looking to hire a full-time photojournalist/video editor. This position is based at our station in Salisbury, Maryland. The role may require working independently or with a reporter.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit videos for numerous news broadcasts.
• Operate the newsgathering satellite/microwave van and shoot video from our helicopter, Chopper 16.
• Receive training to operate and fly newsgathering drones (FAA certification may be pursued).

Qualifications

• Prior video or photography experience is ideal.
• Familiarity with Adobe video editing software.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work full-time at the Salisbury, MD location.
