Overview

American Signature Inc. is a family-owned furniture retailer operating since 1948 with more than 125 stores. The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for implementing the visual merchandising strategy and creating appealing displays that guide customers through the showroom. This role reports to the Store Manager.

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Responsible for the overall presentation of the showroom
• Execute floor set changes, including new and discontinued items
• Manage inventory to reduce overages and shortages
• Foster an energetic and positive working environment
• Listen to customers’ needs and present suitable options

• A strong sense of style and the ability to create visually appealing displays
• High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and team members
• Proven teamwork and a customer service mindset
• Ownership mindset and accountability within scope of responsibility
• Proactive problem-solving approach
