Job Summary

The Visual Merchandising Specialist is responsible for bringing company-directed VM strategies and standards to life. This role executes product presentation, styling, and in-store marketing elements to optimize guests’ experiences. They implement key product stories, placement strategies, and sell-through through merchandise changes, display, and mannequin styling, in accordance with company standards and adapted to store needs. They deliver a world-class guest experience on the floor.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with store leadership to bring VM presentation and guest experience to life on the floor.
  • Consistently apply brand standards in key product stories, product placement, and intuitive store navigation to create a world-class guest-centric experience.
  • Execute visually compelling product presentation to enhance the guest experience and drive store sell-through.
  • Manage VM flips, window activations, mannequin styling, signage and label updates, and seasonal or weekly merchandise changes, as well as campaigns.
  • Engage with guests to assess needs, provide technical product education, and incorporate omnichannel programs into a seamless experience.
  • Provide feedback and in-the-moment training on brand standards and display techniques to support team development.
  • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by building supportive relationships with team members.

Job Requirements

Eligibility

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located
  • Must be able to travel to assigned store with reliable transportation

Schedule/Availability

  • Work schedule varies based on store needs
  • Shifts typically include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • During peak times or events, schedules may include early mornings or late nights/overnights

Experience

  • 1 year of retail or sales experience
  • Some education or experience with visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, graphic design, interior design, space planning, or related fields

Assets (Nice to Have)

  • Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent, or higher; design or related field training or degree
  • Experience in retail product merchandising, visual merchandising, inventory management, or project management
  • For experiential stores with food/beverage service: food safety and/or liquor service certification

Work Context

  • Work involves moving through the store with potential bright lights and loud music

  • Physical requirements include moving boxes, fixtures, and mannequins up to 30 lbs; occasional bending, reaching, and ladder use

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay Range: $20.00 – $23.01/hour (varies by location)

Target Bonus: $2.00/hour

Total Target Base Pay Range: $22.00 – $25.01/hour
