What you’ll own (day-to-day)
Plan and execute grassroots campaigns and creative outreach that drive event registrations and qualified leads.
Create, edit, and publish social content (short-form + static) and email campaigns.
Direct sourcing of community partners, PR outreach, and on-the-ground event support.
Own the lead-generation KPI: top-of-funnel performance through social, events, and partnerships.
Develop and maintain media/partnership lists and nurture relationships with influencers, venues, and community groups.
Prepare candidate-quality content and assets (flyers, event pages, Instagram reels, email templates) that align to brand.
Track performance, iterate quickly, and present concise weekly/monthly results and learnings.
Support cross-functional needs: merch drop coordination, creative briefs, and ad hoc guerrilla marketing.
Must-have skills & experience
2+ years in marketing, outreach, or growth roles at startups, events, or community brands.
Strong content chops: Adobe (Photoshop/Illustrator/Lightroom) and Canva — able to produce polished assets quickly.
Proven social media experience (ideation + execution + basic editing for short-form video).
Solid email marketing experience (audience segmentation, campaign setup, performance tracking).
Comfortable with cold outreach, partnership development, and PR-style relationship building.
Excellent written and verbal communication and a take-action, resourceful mindset.
Highly organized, able to run multiple activation channels at once.
Must be onsite — this role requires in-person collaboration and event attendance.
Nice to have
Experience with events and on-site activations.
Familiarity with lead-tracking tools, CRM basics, or marketing automation.
Portfolio that shows both creative and campaign outcomes.
