Job Title: Construction Proposal Writer
Location: Sacramento, CA (in-office required)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually (DOE)
Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and format scopes of work, project proposals, and client correspondence
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and leadership to ensure content accuracy and clarity
• Maintain and update proposal templates, company qualifications, and marketing materials
• Assist with presentations, newsletters, and digital campaigns to enhance brand visibility
• Support business development efforts through RFP/RFQ coordination and submission tracking
• Conduct research to support proposal and marketing strategy
• Ensure all materials reflect company branding and professionalism

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of writing or marketing experience in construction, engineering, or related industry
• Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite or CRM tools a plus
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
