Salary: $12.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Records high-quality video footage at events, interviews, and special projects
• Edits raw video into polished content for use on social media, websites, and digital campaigns
• Collaborates with the Digital Communications team to brainstorm, storyboard, and execute video projects
• Manages video equipment, including cameras, microphones, tripods, and lighting
• Ensures quick turnaround of event recap videos, typically within 24-48 hours
• Organizes and archives video files for easy access and future use
• Assists in producing content for podcasts and other multimedia projects as needed
• Supports live event video production, including setup and teardown

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

• Basic to intermediate experience with videography and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Familiarity with camera equipment, lighting, and audio recording
• Creative eye for storytelling, composition, and detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects on deadline
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Must be a current UHD student
