Applicants will be expected to be on their feet for several hours and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not required.

Requirements and Responsibilities

We are looking for applicants who are friendly, enthusiastic, and enjoy serving guests. Cashiers at Chicken Salad Chick develop skills and experiences that support future business success. We prepare a variety of products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, desserts, and other items, following CSC recipes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness/sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare a variety of food products for cooking/serving according to CSC recipe and product standards.
• Explain and comply with CSC portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and equipment.
• Close the kitchen properly and assist others in closing.
• Attend scheduled meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement.
• Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to Management; notify management of product shortages.
• Follow Standard Recipe Cards; rely on standardized procedures rather than memory.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
