What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily operational activities of the Broadcast Operations Center, including supervising technicians and ensuring broadcast quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards and effective handling and review of technical incidents.
• Design and schedule training; develop operational workflows and disaster recovery processes.
• Coordinate across departments and with external parties to maintain broadcast reliability and operational excellence.
• Manage content delivery for Talk, Music, News, and Sports channels across Sirius, XM and Web platforms.
• Respond decisively in high-pressure situations; execute Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity sequences related to Broadcast Operations.
• Maintain familiarity with broadcast technologies (including TS over IP, SMPTE ST 2110) and digital audio routing systems.
• Interface with Programming, Media Engineering, Uplink Control operations, and other internal teams; promote standardized processes and documentation.
• Oversee live events and ensure adherence to checklists and workflows for Operations Center technicians.
• Maintain strong communication skills; work collaboratively and with accountability.

What You’ll Need

• 2 or more years of experience in operations or master control supervision at a major market Operations Center facility or broadcast network.
• Experience in technical operation and ability to interface with non-technical operators.
• Familiarity with SMPTE ST 2110.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, compensation varies with background and experience. The base salary range for this position is $79,000 to $114,500 and may be eligible for discretionary incentives.
